On Thursday October 27, MESOC project is organizing an online workshop as a side event of the European week of regions & cities, the biggest annual Brussels-based event dedicated to cohesion policy.

The workshop aims to explore the possibilities of using cultural planning as an element of social cohesion. In this connection, the case of Jerez, supported by MESOC and the National Organisation of Municipalities and Provinces of Spain (FEMP), will be presented in order to show the efforts made to create a coherent, reliable, effective and comparable system for evaluating local cultural policies. It is time to move from well-intentioned discourse to the strength of evidence.
