EU week of regions & cities side event | Cultural planning for social cohesion. The collaboration of the city of Jerez and the MESOC project

On Thursday October 27, 2022, MESOC project organized an online workshop as a side event of the European week of regions & cities, the biggest annual Brussels-based event dedicated to cohesion policy.

The workshop aimed to explore the possibilities of using cultural planning as an element of social cohesion. In this connection, the case of Jerez, supported by MESOC and the National Organisation of Municipalities and Provinces of Spain (FEMP), was presented in order to show the efforts made to create a coherent, reliable, effective and comparable system for evaluating local cultural policies.
